Pia Arke. From the same series as this and this. These are what East Greenlanders look like just as much as the ones on the left and right in the first link. And like in the second link they reclaim what have been turned into ‘ethnographic objects’ as living bits of East Greenland, where the practice of ethnographic preservation and study would put them in a dark room and around them conjure notions of a faded, exotic past.
